This fully burdened payload covers all aircraft rental, instructor time, and essential third-party FAA credentialing—including the Class 3 Medical exam, the official FAA Written Knowledge Test, and the final DPE Checkride fee. We actively protect taxpayer funds against scope creep. If a candidate plateaus and cannot meet FAA checkride proficiency standards within the contracted 45-hour block, district-funded flight operations immediately cease. We absolutely do not drain public budgets on infinite remedial training. Any subsequent flight hours required to achieve standard proficiency automatically transition to a private retail contract, billed directly to the student's family. You cap your liability; the student keeps their progress.
